The vagabond soul

I am a stranger in my city
An alien to my planet
Got my roots anchored to the soil
But have lost my soul to the blue velvet.

It seems i have found my nest
And they tell me to settle down
But my soul hates to rest
Design ways to leave the town

And every morning when i wake up
I see a known world outside
The window seems like an old tv
With only one channel to decide

I wish i had this remote
By which i can change the view
I wish i had more options
To start something new

They say home is where heart is
And heart is where u you love to stay
But my restless heart knows no home
It likes to float astray
